The story of Native people in this area stretches back at least 12,000 years and continues today. In honor of Native American Heritage Month, learn about the lives of the Potawatomi through Native voices and object-based inquiry. This program was created in collaboration with the Lake County Forest Preserve's Native Peoples Advisory Group.
