Write the opening chapter of an original novel for a chance to win a writing themed gift basket and gift card. Entries should be typed in Times New Roman or Arial, size 12, double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides. Submissions will be entered via email at childstaff@waukeganpl.info. Prizes will be awarded in three age categories: Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12. All entries must be submitted by 11/30. Winners will be announced on 12/12.
The Main Library is located on the corner of County and Clayton St in downtown Waukegan. The Library provides internet access, public access computers, collaborative workstations, study rooms, and meeting rooms.
